Certain states require a disclaimer before recording in a two party consent state. In these states, the customer needs to approve the recording. Adding a disclaimer messaging for outbound calls and getting approve is required to record the call and does not exist today. Adding the disclaimer in required states will help meet legal requirements before we record the call. The ultimate goal is to be able to record both sides of the call in these specific states. One example of a challenge is the recent callsource conversion (Bill Jacobs)
This would need to be implemented through Twillio and Vonage in the future. Do they have the capabilities?
Products that we use to make these outbound calls.
- Click to Call (Click on customer, agent selects the number, the phone calls both the customer and the agent). The third party calls each person and connects the two calls.
THIS WILL NEED TECHNICAL VALIDATION IF WE CAN DO IT
recording outbound calls with a disclaimer will result in less pickups on the outbound, Call will resemble a telemarketing spam call.
