When creating a new user, one will go through a list of available phone numbers. Then, open the create user screen and begin entering data. When you get to the number for caller ID section, for us it is a list of MANY MANY numbers. There is no easy way to type/search/find to select the right one, just slowly, carefully, manually scroll through each number until finding the right one.
you can get around this by setting PORTAL_USERS_CALLERID_USE_DROPDOWN_DID_LIST to 'no' in the platform settings. This will give you a field to enter the number instead of a long drop-down.
